My name is Esti Araten
I am a certified Karen Pryor Academy (KPA CTP) dog trainer. I specialize in nosework.
I am a Certified Nosework Instructor (CNWI), awarded by the National Association of Canine Scent Work (NACSW), the world’s leading canine scent work sports organization.
I train dogs using only positive reinforcement methods.
I do not use punishment = corrections.
My dog training practice is based on scientific knowledge, particularly the science of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
I completed a diploma in Applied Animal Behavior at the University of Washington, Washington State, USA (UW-AAB).
I have extensive knowledge of dog behavior and I make sure to keep up to date on the subject. I give lectures on dog behavior, dog training and nosework in various frameworks.
I hold a BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) from The School of Visual Arts (New York). I worked for many years in online advertising in the US and Israel.

I have participated in numerous international seminars and conferences, including seminars led by Kay Laurence, Patricia McConnel Ph.D., Turid Rugaas, Ken Ramirez, Jaak Panksepp Ph.D., Kathy Sdao and Chirag Patel, among others.
